Strawberry Full Moon Reading | 29th June 2026 Reclaiming Your Energy After Overgiving

As I was shuffling and asking whether a deeper full moon reading wanted to come through, The Tower came out.

So I took that as the answer.

This full moon is bringing up some big energy. It feels like a truth being revealed. Something that has been building beneath the surface can no longer be ignored. The Tower is not always comfortable, but it does clear what was unstable, unbalanced, or being held together by force.

For this reading, I asked:

What is being revealed?
Six of Pentacles

What is ready to be released?
Three of Swords

What comes next?
Five of Swords, The Devil, The Emperor and Four of Swords

If rest and healing are given the time they need, what comes after that?
The Magician

The message coming through here is around imbalance. Where your energy has been going. Where you have been giving, helping, showing up, explaining, fixing, supporting or pouring into people and situations that have not been meeting you with the same energy.

The Six of Pentacles feels like the scales being placed back into your hands.

This isn't just about noticing where things have been unfair. Its about realising that you are no longer powerless inside that unfairness. You get to decide where your energy goes now. You get to decide who receives access to you, how much you give, and whether something has earned the right to keep taking from you.

The Three of Swords shows the emotional cost of that imbalance.

This is the heartbreak, the disappointment, the exhaustion, the backstabbing, the grief of finally seeing something clearly. For some, this may bring actual tears. Not because you are going backwards, but because your body and heart may finally feel safe enough to release what they have been carrying.

There is also a message here about not rushing past the hurt just because you understand it now. Understanding why something happened does not mean it didn't hurt. Seeing the truth doesn't mean you are not allowed to grieve it.

The Five of Swords feels like a difficult kind of victory.

You may win by walking away. You may win by no longer fighting for a place in someone’s life. You may even win by choosing peace over proving your point. But that doesn't mean it feels good straight away.

There can still be sadness in realising you are better off without certain people, patterns or situations. There can still be grief in accepting that something you cared about brought more conflict than comfort.

Then The Devil reveals the attachment underneath it all.

This is where the reading asks for honesty. Not just about what others have done, but about the patterns that kept you tied to it. People-pleasing. Overgiving. Guilt. Fear of being misunderstood. The need to fix things. The habit of shrinking your own needs so the relationship, job, friendship or situation could keep surviving.

This full moon is not asking you to blame yourself. But it is asking you to see the pattern clearly enough so that you don't keep repeating it.

The Emperor follows, but this wasn't a simple “stand strong” message.

It felt like the image of someone sitting on their throne, looking powerful from the outside, but still carrying pain on the inside. A brave face. A hard exterior. The part of you that has had to keep going, keep functioning, kept being strong, even while something inside you was still hurting.

What I am hearing is that strength is not the same as pretending you are fine.

You can reclaim your power and still need time. You can set boundaries and still feel grief. You can know you made the right choice and still need to lay down the weight of what it took to get here.

That is why the Four of Swords came next.

This is the pause. The healing. The space after the storm. A very clear message. You are not being asked to rush into the next version of yourself overnight. You're being asked to rest with what has happened. To let your nervous system catch up. To allow yourself to process the truth, the grief, the anger, the relief and everything in between.

This is not wasted time. This is where the energy comes back to you.

And when I asked what comes after that, if the rest and healing are actually given the time they need, The Magician came out.

That is the return of your power.

The Magician is you remembering who you were before you became depleted trying to be everything for everyone else. It feels like your energy coming back into your hands. Your voice returning. Your confidence returning. Your ability to create, choose, manifest and move forward from a place that is no longer drained.

This full moon is not just about release.

It is about reclaiming.

Reclaiming your energy.
Reclaiming your boundaries.
Reclaiming your right to rest.
Reclaiming the parts of yourself that were buried under overgiving, heartbreak and survival mode.

Reflection prompts for this full moon

Where have I been giving from depletion instead of choice?

What truth have I been avoiding because accepting it would mean something has to change?

What attachment, pattern or people-pleasing behaviour am I ready to release?

Where am I being asked to rest instead of rushing into the next thing?

What part of my power is ready to return to me?

A simple full moon release ritual

Write down what you are ready to release. This could be a person, a pattern, an old wound, a version of yourself, or the belief that you have to overgive to be valued.

When you are ready, say:

I release what has drained me.
I release what has taken more than it gave.
I release the version of me that believed I had to overgive to be loved, chosen or understood.

Then safely burn, tear, bury or fold the paper away from you.

Take a few slow breaths and place your hand over your heart.

Say:

My energy returns to me.
My power returns to me.
I choose where I go from here.

Let this full moon show you what is no longer yours to carry.

Held with love and intention

Chrystal
